RESOLUTION

ON THE ARREST OF TRADE UNIONISTS IN TURKEY

The E. B. of OLME denounces the arrest of 71 trade union members in Turkey, 3 out of 7 of which are members of the E.B. of EGITIM SEN and 2 out of 7 are members of the E.B. of KESK and SES, being accused by the Turkish state as terrorists.

In reality, these trade unions are struggling against the neoliberal policy exercised in Turkey and against the violation of the democratic rights of workers.

We fully support the struggles of the Turkish trade unions.

We demand the immediate release of all trade unionists.

We denounce the violation of democratic rights.
